Abstrak
Abstract The purpose of this paper is to describe of Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Padang municipality. For a population of 920.044 inhabitants, the number of SMEs in Padang Municipality in Figures 2016 amounted to 4.028 enterprises. The figure shows a comparison of the number of SMEs with a population of Padang relatively very low, it obtained 1 to 228. Low density always reflects (and lead to) lower labor, investment, and experts. It also negatively affects the economic performance of the nation. This trend if significantly survive in the future could weaken the country's ability to generate sufficient employment opportunities for the growing labor supply.
