This research is aimed at enriching the vocabulary size of English as Foreign Language (EFL) students and improving their writing. The focus is on the last year students in English Department, State Polytechnic of Padang, who conduct their final report concerning on broadcasting field. They are expected to produce a script in English and apply it in the form of video. At the beginning of the research, the students were examined by using Vocabulary Size Test (VST) in order to categorize their vocabulary acquisition. Based on its result, two students with the highest score were chosen as the participant who would be getting the treatment. Some texts which related to their final project topic were delivered as the references in conducting the project. In each of four months, the students were tested by using VST regularly to measure their temporary progress. Furthermore, their writings were also revised and analyzed by the researchers by referring to their choice of words and grammar. The students were also provided by list of questions due to complete its analysis. The result of this implementation and the students' questionnaire show that this research is beneficial in improving their vocabulary size and their skill in writing the script, particularly on grammar and diction.
